Wild Things Taxidermy Terms and Conditions

A 50% deposit is required at time of drop off. I will contact you upon completion, at which time the final balance will be due. Any item left over 30 days will become property of Wild Things Taxidermy. A $30.00 fee will be charged on any returned checks.

All mammals to be mounted with Wild Things Taxidermy will be sent out to be professionally tanned prior to mounting. The reason for this is that we want to ensure you the lifelong enjoyment of your trophy. Some taxidermists cut costs by applying only a presevative to the flesh side of the hide before mounting, which we believe is NOT the most reliable nor the most professional method for treating your trophy.
Tanning is done, however, at the owners risk. Many factors are involved which are beyond both my and my tannery's control. Some of these include:
-That the hide came from an animal in good health
-That the animal was skinned, or caped out AT ONCE after the kill
-Wounds or scarring the animal had before it was harvested
-If it was dragged on the ground, or over fallen timber
-Temperature and conditions at which the hide has been stored prior to bringing it to your taxidermist.

Due to the varying nature of wildlife taxidermy, and our flexibility to incorperate customized elements into your mount, it is difficult to create a set pricing on every animal we could recieve. Your mount possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
